    Yesterday i got my copy of Envisioning Information, the best word to describe it is ‘breathtaking’.

    It starts with two blank pages, but yet from there i could recognize a careful craft in the book like I’d never seen before. It’s been delicately designed to the most single detail.

    Only from the introduction, I can tell that it’s a work of love and passion. The writing is so careful it’s almost poetry. I was also impressed by the subtle background color in the old diagrams (this requires an extra ink in the printshop).

    There have been lots of praise about these books, yet it was more than I expected. I can’t wait to finish reading it all.

    The information put there is useful to many different kind of professionals, and specially to us. It presents a superb reasearch of best practices of information design / architecture. Of all the reviews I’d seen, none of them commented the fact that it is a reaserch. Hope this helps
