    The second one is from Roswell, New Mexico, right? (Unless more than one of those signs exists, which I doubt.) You drive about 20 minutes outside of town, on a wide road with no scenery, and there one path you can pull off on to, and when you drive down the path about a quarter of a mile, there’s the sign (and nothing else).

    Roswell is not that fun of a place to visit — I always tell people it may warrant a bathroom stop if you’re ever unfortunate enough to be in the area — but this sign is one of the neat things…

    Actually no– it is a small section of route 66 near kingman… we didn’t make it to new mexico this time.

    I cant’ talk about route 66 without hearing the song… flagstaff arizona, don’t forget winona (a non-town now.. a truckstop and a couple of shacks, Kingamn, Barstow, San Bernadino…
