    Love this, but wondering if a social factor is missing. Being part of a community that is motivating and fun.

    At Yahoo, the number one reason people liked working there was the other people, so you are likely correct.
    Sometimes I think norms are part of it too, though that falls into meaning– if the company has different values than you do, you will be unhappy.
