    The diagram needs to start again on the other side of the chasm where this one ends! Let’s hope for lots of thin lines for small, smart firms. The brighter the line’s colors, the more resources they’ve shared; proprietary methods will cause firms’ lines to fade to black against the background.

    This isn’t the Experience Design family tree by a long shot. It’s a bunch of companies. What about the actual designers? Companies don’t design, people do.

    Don’t forget that a couple of years ago, when this diagram was created, this really was the way things seemed. Sure companies don’t design, people do, but remember all the job-hopping and mergers? Who could tell who was working where when?
