(Not so) Happy Birthday

This was supposed to be me telling you - Hoohoo! I've survived 1 whole year in the blogging world - but instead I want to use the occasion to mark the passing of Argus Associates, the bedrock of information architecture as I knew it. I'm not going to get all maudlin except to point out that the contibution they made to this discipline was huge. Even Jakob isn't to usability what Argus were to IA.

I'm wracked with survivor's guilt and feel completely unworthy of calling myself an information architect now that they're gone. Damn.

Special thanks to Lou, Peter, Keith and all the really smart people who worked there. Best of luck with everything in the future.
