John Howe I was shocked to learn that Argus was shutting down when I cruised by their site to check it out before sending the URL to a talented young copy writer I'd just talked to who was delighted and amazed when I suggested to her that the work she was doing for a big corporate Web site was mostly "information architecture." She was at the same stage I was about two years ago when I discovered "the polar bear book" and was thrilled to realize it was all about what I was finding myself doing more and more of, although I was still calling myself (and being called and getting paid at the level of) a "copy writer." Then I read it and realized how much I had to learn and it became a trusty, dog-earred reference tool, one of those books that's so exactly what you want to learn just when you want to learn it, it becomes like a favorite old soft-washed shirt that you inhabit as it inhabits you. Thank you, Peter and Louis.
